We literally cannot look
Your memories. Nobody else’s business.
Imazho locks every photo on your phone before it ever uploads. You still get search, albums, faces and on this day — we just never get to see any of it.
No card. 10 GB free. Take your originals whenever you like.

So what is Imazho?
Imazho is an end-to-end encrypted photo library. Your photos are sealed with AES-256 on your phone before they upload, using a key derived on your own hardware — so our servers only ever hold ciphertext nobody here can open. You still get search, albums, people and places.
It’s the answer for anyone who wants a modern photo app without handing their life to an advertising company — and it runs on your own server if you’d rather trust nobody at all.
| What it is | Private photo library for web, iOS and Android |
|---|---|
| Encryption | AES-256-GCM, applied on your device before upload |
| Key derivation | Argon2id, on your hardware — never uploaded in a form we can open |
| What our servers can read | Nothing. Ciphertext only |
| AI indexing | Opt-in, and purgeable in one tap |
| Export | Full-quality originals, free, any time |
| Self-hosting | Any S3-compatible bucket (MinIO, Cloudflare R2) |
| Price | From $7.99/month · 30 days free, no card |
Three things it does really well.
- 01
Ask for it in plain words
"the beach house, the summer it rained." That's the whole search — no albums to babysit, no tags to type.
- 02
Locked before it leaves
AES-256 on your phone, with a key we never hold. What lands on our servers is noise we have no way to undo.
- 03
Bring the whole family
Shared spaces for up to five people, so nobody's childhood ends up sitting on a stranger's advertising cloud.
Search
Don't organize. Just ask.
Describe the memory the way you’d describe it to a friend. The index that answers you is built with your consent and stays yours — turn it off and it’s gone.

Same photo. Two very different views.
Your photos are sealed on your device before a single byte uploads. Here is that exact file from both sides of the wire.
- Encrypted before upload
- Keys only you hold
- AI is opt-in, and erasable
- No ads, no trackers, ever

On this day
A little time travel with your coffee.
Every morning Imazho quietly sets out a few moments worth re-feeling — the same date across the years of your life. The trip you'd half forgotten. A face exactly as it was.
The best notification you’ll get all day is from yourself, three years ago.
Moving in
Bring the whole shoebox.
Import from wherever your life is currently scattered. We verify every single file arrived, byte for byte, then hand you the only key. Forty thousand photos is a normal Tuesday.

Fair questions.
Can Imazho see my photos?
No. Imazho encrypts photos with AES-256 on your device before they upload, and the keys never leave your hands. What reaches our servers is ciphertext we cannot open — not for support, not for advertising, not for anyone who asks.
How does encrypted photo search work?
AI indexing is optional and only runs with your consent. When you turn it on, Imazho derives searchable captions and tags for your library so you can search in plain language, and you can purge all AI-derived data from settings at any time. Leave it off and your photos are simply encrypted storage.
What if I forget my PIN or lose my encryption key?
During setup Imazho gives you a backup key file to download, and you can create a recovery bundle protected by a passphrase — either one restores access on a new device. PIN unlock is strictly rate-limited, and too many failed attempts destroy the cloud copy of your key, so brute force gets nothing.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Every plan starts with 30 days free and no card. When the trial ends you pick a plan to keep uploading — and whatever you decide, your originals stay downloadable in full quality. Your memories are never held hostage.
Can I move my photos to another service later?
Yes. Your originals download in full quality whenever you want them, with no fees and no waiting period. Imazho would rather earn the renewal than lock the door.
Can I self-host Imazho?
Yes. Point Imazho at your own S3-compatible bucket — MinIO, Cloudflare R2, or any equivalent — and self-host the whole thing. Same clients, same encryption, your hardware.
Move in. Bring the shoebox.
30 days free, no card, 10 GB to start. Ten minutes from now your photos could be somewhere nobody else can read them.
